C-TEC has launched a CPD-certified seminar examining the recently revised BS 5839-6 code of practice for domestic fire alarms.
‘A Guide to BS 5839-6 2019 Domestic Fire Alarms’ will spotlight changes made to the code of practice for the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire detection and fire alarm systems in domestic premises.
The leading life-safety systems manufacturer will dedicate a significant portion of the seminar to the revised system of grading for such systems. At the end of the seminar delegates can witness demonstrations of C-TEC’s wide range of life-safety systems.
This will include Hush Pro, its groundbreaking new BS 5839-6 Grade C domestic fire alarm system. Designed to seamlessly integrate domestic fire systems with communal/landlord fire systems, Hush Pro can enhance existing stay-put strategies, fire policies and procedures in high-rise residential buildings and HMOs.
“Our new CPD-certified seminar is free of charge and an absolute must-attend for anyone involved in the design, specification and installation of domestic fire alarm systems,” said Andy Green, C-TEC’s marketing manager.
We recently spoke to Andy Green about Hush Pro, a new range of EN-54 power supplies and C-TEC’s investment in the internet of things, among other things.
