Women in Security Awards 2019: winners revealed

The winners of the Women in Security Awards were revealed last night during an event hosted by the SSAIB.

A black tie drinks reception was followed by dinner and drinks aboard the Dixie Queen on the River Thames. The awards were then revealed as the event continued into the evening.

Security Manager Award: Jennifer Ciolfi, University of Dundee

Frontline Award: Sara Stephenson, Sodexo

Business Manager Award: Bernadette Duncan, AUCSO

Technical Award: Kiran Bhagotra, ProtectBox

Contribution to Industry Award: Amanda McCloskey, CIS Security

Judges for the Women in Security Awards included chairs and chief executives from:

  • The Association of Security Consultants
  • ASIS UK Chapter
  • The British Security Industry Association (BSIA)
  • The Fire and Security Association (FSA)
  • The International Professional Security Association (IPSA)
  • The National Security Inspectorate (NSI)
  • The Security Industry Authority (SIA)
  • The Security Institute
  • The Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB)
  • The Worshipful Company of Security Professionals
